There is much to see and do on our island

Climb the North Tower and see all the way to Boston or north to Maine . Wander the trails and identify the various flora and fauna and wildlife on the island. The north end of the island is a wildlife refuge operated by the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service. Camping is available at Carroll’s Campground (with advance reservation with the keeper click here for more information). Visit the two keeper’s houses, the fog signal whistle house, helicopter pad, oil house and see the remnants of the island original railway used to haul coal and oil up from the boat house ramp to the towers and whistle house.

If you cannot make out to the island there are a few places on shore with great views including Marmion Way, Eden Road, Penzance Road and Emerson Point.
